Richard Bradley published many books on gardening and botany. He also published these two cookery books (in 1727 and 1732) reflecting his travels in England and the Continent. They are a pleasure to read, comprising anecdotes and recipes. This book is a reproduction of the 6th Edition (1736) and is preceded with a full introduction, then followed by a very useful glossary and explanatory notes section.
