The title page is also signed by Margaret Mee’s husband, Greville Mee and there is a further signature which we can’t decipher. Furthermore, Prof. Sir Ghillean Prance (who wrote the Preface and a chapter within this work) wrote ’To Gren, Thank you for all you have done to organise this book and to promote Margaret Mee at Kew, Ghillean Prance’. Lastly, at the end of her Acknowledgements, Ruth Stiff wrote ‘To Gren, We have done it indeed! I am so pleased and so grateful. What a team we make! Ruth’. A wonderfully unique copy.
