Considered a classic work on beekeeping by the multi-talented vicar, naturalist and author, Tickner Edwardes (1865-1944) of Burpham, West Sussex, England. He was also a Fellow of the Entomological Society, London. The book contains a series of essays, with lyrical descriptions, on the art of bee-keeping in the persona of "The Bee-Master" of Warrilow, a quaint English village on the Sussex Downs.
