The Reverend Octavius Pickard-Cambridge FRS (1828–1917) was an English clergyman, zoologist and world authority on spiders. This fascinating memoir of his life was written by his son, Arthur Wallace. Contains an 18-page section dedicated to the writings of Rev. Pickard-Cambridge in the fields of Antiquarian and Miscellaneous, Meterology, Mammalia, Reptilia, Ornithology, Central Entomology and ‘Other Orders’, Lepidoptera and finally, Arachnida.
