Three volumes of the de-luxe edition, bound in half vellum and white cloth with 66 fine chromolithograph plates and many engravings. Folio. Boards in very good condition. Internal hinges of volume one a little tender; those in volume two have been neatly strengthened with a similar white cloth to that of the boards. Bindings in very good condition for all volumes. Contents beautifully clean and in fine condition. Overall a very good set.
This work was originally released in monthly parts and then bound at a later date. A sumptuous, superb work.
